An open Bible and journal in warm morning light
What We Believe

Jesus is the center.
His Word is our foundation.

What we believe shapes how we see God, how we see ourselves, and how we live. At New Covenant Fellowship, our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, grounded in the Word of God, and led through the power and leading of the Holy Spirit.

“Thy word is truth.” · John 17:17
What We Believe

Everything begins with God’s Word.

We don’t believe the Bible is simply a collection of inspirational writings or good advice. We believe it is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for what we believe and how we live.

Our beliefs are not built around trends, traditions, personalities, or culture. They’re built on the Word.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”2 Timothy 3:16
Our Core Beliefs

Faith for every part of life.

01

The Bible

God Has Spoken.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It reveals God’s character, His will, His promises, and His plan through Jesus Christ. God’s Word is our foundation for faith and daily life.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 · John 17:17 · Hebrews 4:12
02

God

One God. Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

We believe in one true and living God, eternally revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is Creator of all things, perfect in love, holiness, goodness, wisdom, and power.

Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14 · Genesis 1:1
03

Jesus Christ

Jesus Changes Everything.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, was raised bodily from the dead, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father.

John 1:1–14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Hebrews 10:12–14
04

Salvation

Made New In Christ.

Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works or religious performance. Through Jesus, we are forgiven, made righteous, reconciled to God, and given new life.

Ephesians 2:8–9 · 2 Corinthians 5:17 · Romans 5:1
05

The Holy Spirit

We Don’t Walk This Life Alone.

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer and empowers us to live the life God has called us to live. He is our Helper, our Guide, and the One who leads us into truth.

Acts 1:8 · Acts 2:1–4 · Galatians 5:22–23
06

Water Baptism

An Outward Expression Of A New Life.

We believe water baptism is an important step of obedience for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It publicly identifies us with His death, burial, and resurrection.

Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:3–4 · Acts 2:38
07

Divine Healing

Jesus Is Still Healer.

We believe healing is part of God’s redemptive work and that God still heals today. We believe in praying for the sick, trusting God’s Word, and ministering healing in the name of Jesus.

Isaiah 53:4–5 · Matthew 8:16–17 · James 5:14–16

The Church

We were never meant to do this alone.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, people who have been brought together by faith in Jesus. The local church is a place where believers worship, learn God’s Word, pray, build relationships, serve one another, discover their gifts, and grow together.

Every believer has a place and a purpose in the Body of Christ.

Our Mission

Good news is meant to be shared.

Jesus commissioned His Church to make disciples. We believe we’re called to share the Gospel, demonstrate the love of Jesus, serve our community, and help people become established in who they are in Christ.

Our mission begins in Eastland, but it doesn’t end there.

This is the life
we’re learning to live.

We don’t claim to have everything figured out. We’re people growing in God’s Word, learning to live by faith, walk in love, and become established in who we are in Christ.

There is room to learn, serve, build relationships, pray, ask questions, and grow together.
