All statistics on this page come from Pew Research Center’s 2023-24 U.S. Religious Landscape Study, published in 2025. The study surveyed more than 35,000 adults across all 50 states. Its stated margin of error for figures based on the full sample is plus or minus 0.8 percentage points.
