Finding a church can feel more personal than choosing a place to spend an hour. You may be looking for a community where people will know your name, a place to bring your questions, or a fresh start after time away. You may be new to Eastland, carrying a need for prayer, or simply ready to grow in faith with other people. Whatever brings you through the door, you do not need to have a perfect story to be welcome.
New Covenant Fellowship is an independent, non-denominational Christian church serving Eastland and the surrounding communities. Our regular gathering is Monday Night Bible Study, a steady evening of worship, God's Word, prayer, and fellowship. We want to make the first visit simple: come as you are, take a seat, meet a few people if you would like, and give yourself room to see whether this is a place where you can grow.
We know that stepping into a new church can bring practical questions as well as spiritual ones. What happens when you arrive? Will anyone expect you to know what to do? Can you come after a long day at work, with children, or while you are still deciding what you believe? We want the answer to be clear: you can come honestly. There is room to listen before you speak, to take in the evening at your own pace, and to return when you are ready.

Our desire is not to create pressure or ask anyone to pretend. We want to be a church family where people can open the Bible, bring what is real, receive encouragement, and learn to follow Jesus in everyday life. That can begin with one evening, one conversation, or one quiet moment of prayer.
Some people come with a long history in church. Others are returning after a difficult season, moving to the area, or wondering whether faith can become more than an idea. Every person's story is different. What we share is a need for Jesus and a hope that His Word can bring light, strength, and direction to the places we are living right now.

Your First Night
There is no need to have it all figured out.
When you arrive, there is time before Bible study begins to get settled and connect. You can introduce yourself, ask where to sit, or simply take a moment to observe. No one will put you on the spot or expect you to know every song, passage, or answer. You are free to participate as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
Our Monday night rhythm is centered on worship, Scripture, prayer, and fellowship. The teaching is Bible-centered and practical, with a focus on knowing Jesus and learning to live by faith in the middle of ordinary life. Bring a Bible if you have one, in print or on your phone. If you do not have one, come anyway. The point is not to arrive prepared enough. The point is to make room to hear God's Word and take your next step.
Families are welcome. Children stay with their parent or guardian during the gathering because separate childcare is not currently offered. If you are coming alone, you will not be the only person who has done that. If you are coming with a friend or family member, there is room for you to experience the evening together. We are glad to welcome people who are sure of what they believe and people who are still asking honest questions.
After the gathering, there is no expectation to make an immediate decision or sign up for anything. You can stay for a conversation, ask a pastor a question, request prayer, or head home and think about what you heard. We believe belonging and spiritual growth take time. A first visit can simply be a first visit. As you return, you will have opportunities to get to know the fellowship, learn more about what we believe, and find ways to serve when that next step feels right.
For many people, the most meaningful part of a church is the steady presence of people who remember what matters to them. It can be a prayer offered in a difficult week, a conversation that encourages you, or the confidence that you have a place to return to on Monday night. We want to build that kind of community in Eastland: one where the love of Jesus is not only talked about, but lived out through care, prayer, patience, and shared life.

Do you meet on Sundays?+
New Covenant Fellowship currently meets on Monday nights for Bible study. Doors open at 5:30 PM for fellowship, and the gathering runs from 6:00-7:00 PM. We do not currently hold a Sunday service.
What is a Monday night gathering like?+
Monday Night Bible Study includes worship, Bible-centered teaching, prayer, and time to connect with others. You are welcome to listen, follow along in your own Bible or on your phone, and participate at a pace that feels comfortable.
Do I need to register or tell someone I am coming?+
No registration is needed. You can simply come. If a message beforehand would help your first visit feel easier, our team is glad to answer a practical question, help you find the building, or let you know what to expect.
What should I wear?+
Come comfortably. People may arrive straight from work, come on their own, or bring a friend. You do not need special clothes or a polished answer to every question to be welcome here.
Are children welcome?+
Yes. Children are welcome to attend with their families. We do not currently offer separate childcare, so children stay with their parent or guardian during the gathering.
What if I am not sure what I believe?+
You do not need to have everything settled before you come. There is room to ask an honest question, listen, receive prayer, and take one simple next step toward Jesus.
